About Me

Shello, I am Siren Lara from Bali, Indonesia. I love mother Earth, Animals (both on Land and Sea), Nature, and the Universe. Being a mermaid has always been my dream since I was a little girl. But I decided to make that dream come true as I grew up. I started my Mermaid journey in a more professional way by entering the Mermaid School in Jakarta in October 2019. That time, Jakarta Mermaid School (JMS) was the 1st Official Mermaid School in Indonesia. They are connected to the Jakarta Aquarium Indonesia (JAI), so students of JMS can also perform in the JAI. I graduated from the Jakarta Mermaid School with the Basic Level 2 Certification. I had a chance to do some practice in the Aquarium and had two Meet and Greet performances along with Mermaid Kiky (the 1st M&G) and Mermaid Dinda (the 2nd M&G). Previously I was living in Jakarta but since August 2020 I moved to Bali, the Island of a Thousand Temples. In Bali I continued my Mermaid lesson by entering the Bali Mermaid School (BMS) and achieved the SSI Certification for the Advance Class, the Ocean Mermaid, and the Underwater Modeling. I did a collaboration with some underwater photographers for the Underwater and Mermaid Photography. I have also done Mermaiding for parties too along with other Mermaids from BMS. I am a freelance Singer when I’m on land. Sometimes I Cosplay as well. I mostly sing on the stage and at children's events, such as birthday parties. My most unforgettable moment regarding my singing is when I was able to visit Japan because of winning first place award for a singing competition held by the Japan Embassy for Indonesia in Jakarta on 2015. Yes! I love singing, reading, mermaiding, and cooking. I love kids too. One of the happiest moments for me is when I can make kids happy with my singing and my mermaiding. Seeing their adorable happy eyes and smile always warms my heart. I really love to interact with the kids because they are adorable and cute and funny too, especially when they ask or tell such a cute words like “Mum, is she a person? But why she doesn’t have legs? She has fishtail.” or “Mum look, she can breath under the water. Like a fish.” or “Daddy daddy look! There’s Princess Ariel.
